Cancellation Policy
At Mona Vale Doctors, we strive to provide the highest level of care and ensure that every appointment slot is utilised effectively. To help us maintain our commitment to timely and efficient care, we have established the following policy regarding missed appointments:
1. Non-attendance definition
A "non-attendance" is defined as a scheduled appointment that is missed without prior notice or where the appointment is not cancelled within the specified notice period.
2. Non-attendance Fee
There is a fee equivalent to 50% of the missed appointment’s fee where no prior notice is given, or where cancellation occurs less than 4 hours before the appointment time. This fee helps cover the costs associated with the missed appointment and supports the efficient operation of our practice. The fee will placed on your account for payment prior to your next appointment.
3. Cancellation Policy
To avoid the non-attendance fee, we kindly request that you notify us of any cancellation at least 4 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who may need care.
