I obtained my fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007 and have worked in general practice in Gladesville for 17 years and Mona Vale since 2022.

I enjoy all areas of general practice, including chronic disease management, preventative health, women’s health, mental health and paediatrics. I offer Shared Antenatal Care with Northern Beaches Hospital. In my spare time, I like spending time with my family, going for walks, playing tennis and reading a good book.

Having grown up in the area, I returned to the Northern Beaches to raise my family and rejoin the team at Mona Vale Medical Practice. Previously, I lived and worked in rural NSW, providing outreach clinics in Bourke, Enngonia, Hillston, and Tumbarumba. This work was rewarding, and I plan to resume short visits to these areas once my children are older.

My clinical practice focuses on women’s health, Aboriginal health and infectious diseases, with experience as a microbiology registrar. Alongside my work at Mona Vale, I serve as Medical Director at the Doctors’ Health Advisory Service (NSW) who offer fly-in GP services to remote NSW, and am involved with a Sydney University Human Research Ethics Committee. I hold additional qualifications in Public Health and Applied Ethics and am dedicated to providing empathetic, patient-centered care.

As a dual registered nurse/midwife and nurse immuniser, I have had the advantage of working within both the public and private sectors, providing collaborative and individualised patient-centred care across various models of care.

I enjoy providing continuity of care to patients which I have developed through experience within the fast-paced and busy environment of tertiary referral hospitals and general practice in both metropolitan and regional Australia.

From these roles, I have developed a keen interest and passion for women’s and children’s health and primary health care.

I am available for early childhood health checks and offer support and advice on matters related to feeding, settling and early childhood growth and development.

On Tuesdays, I offer Shared Antenatal Care appointments in conjunction with Dr Cindy Wong and Northern Beaches Hospital.

I completed my Bachelor of Nursing in 2022 and have a background in surgical nursing at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. I have had the opportunity to also work in maternity and women’s health which sparked my interest in women’s and children’s health. I am passionate about providing holistic care to all patients, and love listening and chatting with them with a kind and caring demeanour. In my spare time, I also coach gymnastics and cheerleading which I love. I also enjoy spending my time at the beach, with friends and trying new things.

I am a dedicated practice manager with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and streamlining operations. Recently, I made the exciting move to the beautiful Northern Beaches of NSW, where I am thrilled to continue my journey in healthcare management.

In my free time, you’ll often find me exploring the stunning bushwalking trails around the area, tending to my garden, or immersing myself in activities that promote holistic wellbeing. I believe in the power of a balanced lifestyle and bring this philosophy into my professional work, striving to create a supportive and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

I look forward to connecting with the community and making a positive impact in the Northern Beaches area.
